B. A. (Pol.Sc.) Va. Tech 1973
Mark has practiced in downtown Scottsdale since graduating
in the top 25% of his class from the Arizona State University
College of Law in 1979. Prior to law school, he was
trained as an IRS field agent. He achieved high distinction
on the Bar Examination and has been recognized by his
peers and Phoenix Magazine as a preeminent lawyer in
Maricopa County.
As a frequent lecturer, facilitator, bar association
leader, and volunteer, Mark contributes to the fabric
of the Phoenix legal and charitable communities. He
is a past president of the Scottsdale Bar Association,
a former judge pro-tempore for the Maricopa County Superior
Courts and has been a volunteer softball coach, mock
trial coach for Saguaro High School, alternate committee
member of the State Bar discipline committee. He is
currently a member of the State Bar fee arbitration
committee and director of the Council for Jews with
Special Needs.
Mark's training in alternate dispute resolution techniques
gives him a balanced perspective toward problem solving
and his litigation experience insures that he zealously
approaches each client's legal need. Mark was a lead
attorney in landmark probate litigation that established
in Arizona the enforceability of a living trust as a
contract.
